Stable Services’ Rotary
Drilling Subs and Drill Pipe Pup Joints are manufactured
from AISI 4145H modified steel, and fully heat treated
to meet or exceed the mechanical property requirements
of NS-1. A through-wall hardness range of 285–341
HB and a charpy “V” notch impact strength
of
42 joules at 20ºC are guaranteed one inch below the
surface.
API Connection
All API connections comply with dimensional requirements
specified in
API spec 7 and API RP 7G. Premium connections are
available on request.
On enquiries and orders please specify:
• Type of sub
• Length between shoulders
• Largest diameter
• Bore
• Connection type and size, indicating pin or box
• Special features, i.e. float bore, hard-banding
etc.
• For lift subs specify tapered or square shoulder
and drill pipe OD
• For pup joints specify nominal size
